One big announcement made by Turtlewax not long ago was that they were introducing a new PRO LINE range of their hybrid solutions products. The main thing that got my interest in this launch was that this new line utilized Graphene technology.
This caught me by surprise as I feel that Turtlewax initially arrived late in the game with Si02 and “Ceramic” products, however, they seem to be out of the trap early in the Graphene infused product market.
As Graphene is only starting to gain popularity in the detailing world as of late, Turtle wax seems to be one of only a few companies offering these types of products at this early stage.
In this instance, they seemed to have gotten the jump ahead of some of the other big brands in the market. As these products are only now becoming available to consumers, there are no long term reviews available, but it will be interesting to see how they perform over time.
Hopefully, I will get a chance to test out some of these products for myself
Details of this new range below ( As described by Turtle Wax themselves )
HYBRID SOLUTIONS PRO GRAPHENE FLEX WAX
This formidable car wax spray unleashes a graphene-infused coating that bonds to wet and dry surfaces for months of unrivalled protection. Millions of graphene polymers form a tough, hydrophobic shield that preserves your delicate paintwork while creating a deep, eye-popping finish. Whether you use it as a rinse wax, a dry wax or both, the Pro-Flex Wax will save you time and money on car care while making it easy to achieve the ultimate “wow” factor.
How To Use Graphene Flex Wax
FOR DRY APPLICATION:
Wash and dry your vehicle.
Apply 1-2 sprays of Pro-Flex Wax to a fresh, microfibre towel or directly onto the surface of your car to build up the foundation of your finish.
Buff product into one panel at a time using your microfibre cloth to achieve a glossy, showroom finish.
FOR WET APPLICATION:
Wash your car. Rinse thoroughly.
While the surface of your car is wet, apply Pro-Flex Wax sparingly to any nonporous surface to refresh and protect your delicate clear coat.
Towel dry for a fresh, sparkling shine.
HYBRID SOLUTIONS PRO TO THE MAX WAX
Stop scratches, paint transfer and oxidation dead in its tracks with Hybrid Solutions Pro to the Max Wax, our most durable liquid car wax to date. Infused with innovative, graphene platelet technology, Pro to the Max forms a tough, heat-repellent shield to protect your car from exposure to UV rays while preventing scratches and swirls in your delicate paintwork. SiO2 polymers create an incredible, hydrophobic shine for months of chemical resistance and intense, water beading action. Your car will withstand even the harshest environmental factors while looking its best, all with the same, powerful product.
How To Use Pro To the Max Wax
Use a clay bar to prep the finish as needed, removing any leftover dirt or debris from the surface of your car.
Apply a drop of Pro to the Max Wax to the centre of a foam applicator.
Buff product into a 2’ x 2’ panel in overlapping, circular motions.
Fold and quarter a clean, microfibre cloth and wipe any excess product using gentle, back-and-forth motions.
Continue waxing in 2’ x 2’ sections until you have covered the entire surface of your vehicle.
Mix Pro to the Max Wax with water to remove buffer streaks and any excess product, continuing to buff to a glossy, showroom finish.
HYBRID SOLUTIONS PRO 1 & DONE PROFESSIONAL POLISHING COMPOUND CORRECT & FINISH
Whether you’re a professional detailer or a DIY enthusiast, Hybrid Solutions Pro 1 & Done is the only product you need to take paint correction to the next level. This professional polishing compound erases scratches, swirls and oxidation while giving dull paintwork a glassy polish, all using the same powerful formula. Just switch your cutting pad to adjust the intensity of this product from a heavy-duty compound to an ultra-fine polish.
Featuring aluminium oxide abrasives and precision platelet technology, 1 & Done smooths the deepest scrapes and imperfections while gliding gently over your clear coat to prevent further damage. The result is a flawless, eye-popping shine with minimal time and effort required
How To Use Pro 1 & Done Compound
Wash and dry your vehicle.
Add four dots of Pro 1 & Done Professional Polishing Compound to the appropriate cutting pad.
Massage product into a 2’ x 2’ panel using a handheld, dual-action machine polisher. Work in a back-and-forth, cross-hatching motion, applying firm pressure to the surface of your car to remove all scratches, swirls and imperfections.
Continue working on one 2’ x 2’ section at a time until all defects have been removed.
Switch to a medium foam pad and buff all newly restored surfaces using the same cross-hatching motion to give your car a deep, flawless shine.
Above is the only info I have on these products at the moment but I will be sure to update this post as I come across more information. I will be keen to see how they perform as Turtle Wax are claiming up to 12 months of protection with these products.
My initial thoughts are that they are priced quite highly, so it will be interesting to see how they perform in the real world and if the high price is justified.
Have you used any of these new Turtle Wax products yet? If so please let me know in the comments below!
Until Next Time
